About me

Hi, I'm Sara.

Creative ideas are electrifying to me,

bouncing around my head until I get the

words written down or the images recorded.

I'm a lefty with ink constantly smudged on my hand. Libraries and museums are some of my favorite places to visit. And watching movies gives me goosebumps.

My love for storytelling, media, and entertainment was cultivated from a young age. From writing stories to exploring street photography and cinematography, I have always been drawn to written and visual mediums as both a creator and a consumer. One summer I even begged my mother not to send me to camp so that I could write creative stories instead (in the end I went to camp and settled for writing at night)!

I recently graduated (#Classof2020) summa cum laude from Binghamton University with a B.A. in Cinema Studies and a B.S. in Business Administration with a concentration in Marketing. My love of nature and desire for sustainability also led me to complete a minor in Environmental Studies (the coolest class I took: about beekeeping & maple syrup!). My combination of degrees has given me a unique creative perspective and strategic approach to innovative storytelling.

Passion for media has led me to complete internships and experiences that have taught me about the different sides of the industry.

I have explored:

  • News & sports television production

  • Public relations

  • Social media marketing

  • Media planning

  • Copy editing

  • Documentary making

  • Influencer marketing

While the industry landscape constantly changes, I hope to add my creative voice to the transformation.

Outside of work, I love to ski, play pinball, hike, and ride roller coasters.

I want to help brands create something worth reading.

Something worth watching.

Something worth experiencing.
